Ive been working all week on a new hydrangea painting. This shows from the drawing to the ‘flat’ colours that lie underneath the true colours to add depth and structure. Its very early days on this one. xx

Hi Leanne- lovely to come in halfway and see you at work. Like seeing how you bring in colour after building up the tones etc. I’m doing a bit of still life at the moment (and exasperating Marco) as I run ahead too fast. A good lesson here!

Thank you Chas. yep the process is a very slow one for me, there are times though that I really want to push ahead quickly – it never works in my favour!! Thanks for stopping by. L

Hi leanne. It’s amazing to see the layer upon layer. Things this beautiful take time and I will continue to watch this amazing and special process with great interest! Jen x
