painting in black and white

I’d have to say that i’ve really enjoyed painting in black and white. You may be interested to know, that i have not used any black paint to paint the greys and darks. All of the black you can see is mixed using Alizarin (crimson), Ultramarine (bright blue) and Schven Green (bright mid green). These 3 mixed together make the most beautiful black. Then if you want to make it warmer you can also add some burnt umber. Love mixing colour!!
