On the recommendation of stephmodo we visited a gorgeous shop in Paris called Merci. It has fashion, furniture, home ware and a flower shop that stocks the most stunning flowers. They allowed me to take some pictures which i was so pleased to be able to do – future painting ideas!!

Merci can be found at 111 boulevard Beaumarchais, Paris.

Anyone know what these beauties are called?

Hi Annie the photos sure are stunning… I am pretty sure they are a Dahlia Mum used to grow something very similar she loved the spikey look of them, didn’t take to the heavy headed Dahlia but loved the clear cut of these smaller ones….can tell by the buds!! I hope I am right is there a prize offered if I have guessed right????? The shop is pretty spectacular and oooh Paris. Luv Nanny and PaXXXX

Yeah, Dahlia for sure! As to what type, I couldn’t say…I can say as a former florist I would be a little red faced to get that wrong =)
