its real!
Its finally (almost – notice down lights hanging out, etc etc) finished! I have a space to paint, in my home, that has light!!!! Just a tad excited to start work again tomorrow. Cant wait to finish this baby!!!!

Hi all and Happy New Year. What a great, restful break Ive had! A week in the country with my family and a week on the coast with friends. Rested. I hope you all feel the same.
I cant wait to get back and begin what will be an amazing year. I have an exhibition booked for June so i am working toward having everything finished and ready to place on those lovely white gallery walls by Winter. The house is still in renovation mode and won’t be finished until early February. It is past the dusty dirty stage though and i’m very thankful for that!! I’ll post pictures as soon as the furniture is moved in. Bless. Leanne x

Sorry for the lack of posts! The renovations have hit ‘fast forward’ and are moving at a rapid pace, painting is packed away (for the minute) and so is my computer! I’ll be back real soon though with the normal painting updates and any other ‘bits’ I can share with you.

Its happening slowly but surely. The end is in sight. I checked my calendar recently only to find that school holidays are fast approaching. I am working as fast as i can to finish this one before i become ‘Entertainment Director’ for my 2 children once again. I love school holidays but it does mean that i don’t get to pick up my brushes too often.
Renovations are still whirring around me.The noise has been quite constant the last few weeks but seeing the progress makes it all ok!!

Amongst the noisy, messy renovations this painting continues to evolve. So far its probably up to its 5th layer of paint…its still about a month away from being finished. A slow and wonderful process.

The big hydrangea continues.
I have progressed more than these pics show but i havent managed to get any more pics taken. I have set up all of my work in a spare room while renovations continue (noisily) around me. The progress of the reno’s are great but my art room is still not finished and i need to keep working hence the need to move to another room. Not ideal but like the renovations…i need to progress! x
